The N2N Festival Celebrates with a Tribute to Aretha Franklin

We are so excited to work with Senator Anthony H. Williams and the Black Women in Sport Foundation for the 2018 Neighborhood to Neighborhood Festival, also known as the N2N Festival. Please join us on Saturday, September 8th for a fun, music-filled day for the whole family to enjoy. You won’t want to miss it because this year’s festival will include a tribute to Aretha Franklin and it’s FREE! Here’s what you can expect.

The festival is presenting a Tribute to Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. There are several headliners that we are excited to have at the event. Musical acts will include Kathy Sledge, Jean Carne, Kelly Price, Kindred the Family Soul, Keke Wyatt, and Monica. There is no doubt that the musical performances will be memorable, entertaining and honor Aretha Franklin. There will also be performances by local artists and specials guests such as Wendell Holland, II, winner of this year's Survivor and hosts Comedian, Skeet and WDAS host, Patty Jackson.

Why do we love supporting the N2N Festival? For 23 years, the N2N Festival has unified thousands of families in the Philadelphia community. Last year, the Festival celebrated the music legend Prince with a tribute by artists Sheila E, Morris Day, and Questlove of the legendary Roots Crew. Along with the tribute, this year’s N2N Festival will also serve as a resource for the community. There will be free health & wellness resources and community resource tents for families and senior citizens. The youth will enjoy a kid's zone just for them!

Each year volunteers, partners and the community dedicate their time to make the festival a success. We’re ready for the fun!
